About the function

As a Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the complete transportation process of international air and sea freight shipments. You maintain oversight, think ahead, and ensure everything is arranged down to the last detail. No two days are the same: you will constantly coordinate between customers, carriers, customs authorities, and colleagues to ensure every shipment is handled successfully.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Processing and coordinating transport orders;
  • Planning the most efficient routes and transportation solutions;
  • Maintaining contact with customers, carriers, and internal departments;
  • Checking and processing transport and customs documentation;
  • Responding quickly to changes or unexpected situations;
  • Monitoring deadlines and quality within the logistics process.

What we need

We are looking for someone who gets energized by organizing, planning, and collaborating in an international environment. You do not need years of experience, motivation and drive are what matter most!

In addition, you have:

  • MBO level working and thinking ability;
  • Full-time availability (40 hours per week);
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English (Dutch is a plus);
  • Attention to detail and an accurate working style;
  • Stress resistance and the ability to switch quickly between tasks;
  • A solution-oriented mindset and sense of responsibility;
  • Experience in hospitality, travel, customer service, or recruitment is a plus;
  • The ability to obtain a VGB/VOG certificate.

In addition, after the six-month onboarding period, you must be willing to work additional shifts. These shifts are compensated very well.

What we offer

  • A gross monthly salary of up to €3,000;
  • In addition, an annual 5% bonus (paid in November);
  • A direct contract with our client;
